Before synthetic dyes were invented, every color on earth came from a plant.

That was 1856. In under 170 years, nearly the entire practice disappeared — the fermentation vats went cold, the dye plants were forgotten, and the knowledge of which root, which bark, which season vanished with the people who carried it.

We are among the few who still practice it. Every piece is hand-dyed from roots, bark, and leaves, using techniques that predate industrial civilization. Each batch is unrepeatable — the water, the season, the harvest all leave their trace in the color.
